Take some time to celebrate the fact that you and your students have nearly made it through a wild year of pandemic school—y'all deserve a celebration, and what better way to do so than through some parody songwriting of the hit song, "Bang!" by AJR?!
Each song parody comes with a screenshot of the chords for the original verse, chorus, and bridge (where applicable) as well as a recording of the original song. (Check the speaker notes for the source link to the music which has been pulled from ultimate-guitar.com.) Examples of rewritten lyrics are provided as well as templates for you and your students to create their own parody.
