"In the Jungle" parody songwriting

Writer: Danielle Keaton, MT-BCDanielle Keaton, MT-BC

Updated: Aug 7, 2022

Jump into songwriting with this simple picture-based parody activity of the hit tune from The Lion King.

This activity is great for elementary-aged students working on goals related to choice making and can even be used for targeting expressive/receptive language. Sixteen animals and 18 actions pre-loaded for you to use, and you can easily add more if you'd like!

This presentation is 100% FREE to download! If you find this to be a successful presentation with your students and would like to give back, however, donations via Venmo (Danielle-Keaton) or Cashapp (dkeaton94) are very much appreciated! Finally, if you would like to share with others, please direct them to my website, Facebook, or Instagram instead of sharing your copy of the presentation directly. Thanks so much for checking it out!

Hi, I’m Danielle and welcome to Slides for Success!

As a Board-Certified Music Therapist, I've experienced the joy of working with children of all ages and abilities and the challenges that come with adapting to the virtual setting. Luckily, I've also discovered the many wonders of Google Slides which has been an absolute life saver during these strange times. I'm so excited to be able to share some of the presentations I've created that have been most successful with my 1:1 students and groups, and I hope that you, too, are able to use and enjoy them as well! Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have about any of the presentations, feedback about the website, or even suggestions for future presentations. Thanks so much for stopping by!
